With the great MICHAEL SCHENKER (left) of Scorpions / U-F-O / M.S.G fame (Sept. 23, 08).

He spent two days at the Dean HQ. I customised and set-up the two Flying V acoustics he will be using on his upcoming M.S.G. tour.

It was an honor. I've been a huge fan of his since 1974.

Hello and thanks for visiting my "world" where it's all about good music. I'm a devout music fan as well as a non-professional musician. This website is about music appreciation, my pride in my acquired "toys" (via in Guitars, Gear, Etc) and a bit of shameless self promotion (what the hell, it's my website). There's something of interest for the casual music fan and musician here.

It's also a tribute to that wonderful era when every band had their own unique identity, musicians had long hair and guitarists played through valve amps. Man, I miss the 1970s.

Current Activity

I'm a guitarist & bass player. After a few years of inactivity, I am seeking to form / join a "good times" Hard Rock 'N' Roll band ala The Faces, Rolling Stones and Humble Pie. Entertaining with a sense of stage presence and style. Blues-based, but not just BLUES. It's gotta "Rock" and with a "groove".

Will welcome touring gigs and recording contracts (sure, who wouldn't). But will have to be financially lucritive for serious consideration and giving up the day "gig". I was formerly Quality Control Supervisor  as well as Artist / Public rReleations for DEAN GUITARS - Tampa, FL. It was a (sometimes) exciting and rewarding positions. But after 5 1/2 years, it was time for a change.  I got sick of pointy guitars and the Death Metal mentality.

As of January 2009, I relocated to Folsom, CA (and no, not the prison) to live with my wife. Am currently taking Adobe Master Suite courses and doing the occasional guitar set-up and teaching guitar / bass lessons.

I'm primarily into late 1960s- 70s Hard Rock & Roll. Also "flirted" with the early 80s metal. But am also into Progressive and Folk / Celtic. Good music is good music regardless of genre. But it's got to have emotion and "ballz". "Loud 'N' Proud" is my motto.

But definitely not into what passes as Heavy Metal and Modern Rock these days.

!!Classic Rock Forever!!
